Step 1 — Charge it first

Step 2 — Check the pod

Coil resistance: Lower resistance pods (0.6Ω, 0.8Ω) run hotter and wear out faster. The 1.0Ω and 1.2Ω MTL pods are the better choice if you want to stretch pod life, particularly with nic salts.

Wattage: On adjustable kits like the XROS Pro 2, ECO mode is kinder to pods than Power mode. The difference in vapour output is subtle; the difference in pod longevity is not.

Chain vaping: Taking long back-to-back puffs overheats the coil. A short pause between puffs makes a noticeable difference over the course of a week.
