If you are thinking about switching from traditional smoking to e-cigarettes you might wonder what the easiest way to do so is. Most people who are considering this transition are worried about some of the common misconceptions surrounding vaping and the fact that vaping won’t be enough to stop the cravings for a real cigarette. However, if the transition to vaping is done properly, this change will be long-lasting. Here are some ways you can make sure you stick to vaping and leave your smoking days in the past.
Choosing an E-cigarette
Just like with traditional cigarettes, not all vapes will work for you, so you might have to try a couple before choosing which one will best suit you. If you’ve tried it before and you felt like it wasn’t for you, that is probably because you have tried the wrong e-cig, so try not to get put off from one bad experience. Once you find the right vaping kit, you are sure to enjoy the experience in favour of traditional smoking.
Know the nicotine strength you need
There is a variety of levels of nicotine you can choose for your e-cigarette: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 18mg, 24mg, and even 36mg.
A big mistake new vapers make is when choosing the nicotine levels for their needs. One way to decide what the right levels for you are is by looking at the number of cigarettes you smoke a day.

If you’ve decided, it’s time to transition from smoking to vaping you need to make sure you avoid potential triggers that might make you go back to your old habits. One way to do so is to remind yourself of the reasons why you quit smoking in the first place. Write down a list, and whenever you feel like having a cigarette, grab the e-cig and read though your list to remind yourself why you don’t want to be smoking anymore.
